Starting this Fall 2026 semester, the Colin Powell School will be welcoming 12 new faculty members across its departments, including visiting professor Pat Moynagh and Professor Nicholas Guilhot, who will join the school in the spring. This investment aligns with the school’s continued student growth, helping support department needs and ensuring the college’s ability to deliver on its promise of top quality education. Meet our new faculty members below:
Matthew Raj Webb joins the Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Programs Department, where he will teach about the cultural politics of design. Dr. Webb is a 2026-27 ACLS Fellow and was previously the 2025-26 Polaire Weissman Curatorial Fellow at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His research has been supported by the Royal Anthropological Institute, Smithsonian Institution, Textile Society of America, Society for Visual Anthropology, and more.
Juliana Unda Segura joins the Economics and Business Department to teach behavioral, experimental and environmental economics. She has a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Jung Jae Kim joins the Economics and Business Department to teach about asset pricing, market microstructure, and machine learning. Professor Kim has a PhD from Emory University.
Nataliia Bychkova joins the Economics and Business Department to teach financial management. Her previous experience includes teaching introduction to financial economics, introduction to ESG, and backlash against globalization at Amherst College.
Adam Litke joins the Economics and Business Department to teach finance and accounting. Professor Litke has more than three decades of experience in finance and risk management, including in senior executive leadership positions. Most recently, he served as a part-time lecturer in Columbia University’s Enterprise Risk Management master’s program, where he taught Financial Risk Management and Company Failures.
Annika Hinze joins the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program as Academic Director, as well as the Political Science Department to teach urban politics, immigration policy, and democratic theory. Dr. Hinze joins CCNY from Fordham University.
Christine Reynolds will be joining the Psychology department to teach family and couple’s counseling at the BA/MA program and the Masters Program in Mental Health Counseling
Shaun Harper joins the Psychology department to teach ethics at the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology. Harper’s research interests focus on intergenerational trauma, a topic in which he also based his PhD thesis. He is an alum of the program.
TJ Sullivan joins the Psychology department to teach in the Masters Program in Mental Health Counseling. He has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Stony Brook University, and has focused his research on LGBTQ mental health, specializing in new approaches to LGBTQ-affirmative therapy.
Cornelis (Cees) van Leeuwen joins the Psychology Department to teach an introductory course in statistics at the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology. He is an expert in cognitive and computational neuroscience, with specific interests in perception, consciousness, and neuronetworks.
