The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership is proud to announce that Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield will be the featured speaker at its 2026 Graduation Celebration on May 28th.
Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield brings a remarkable record of public service to this occasion. She served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 2021-2025 under President Biden, where she represented American interests on the world stage with directness and conviction. Prior to that role, she served as Director General of the Foreign Service and as U.S. Ambassador to Liberia, among numerous other postings spanning a 35-year career in the Foreign Service.
Her career embodies the leadership values at the heart of the Colin Powell School’s mission — integrity, service, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening communities and institutions. It is an honor to welcome her as we celebrate the achievements of our graduating class.
