Shama Mital was born, raised and educated in Varanasi India. She worked in State Museum Lucknow before moving to US. Worked in many fields. Taught Vegetarian Indian cooking and did a number of TV segments with Cabel vision of Norwalk and Yonkers. she is very involved with The International Museum of Sarees
