Mariela Pichardo

Mariela Pichardo is a Research Assistant in the Research Unit, where she undertakes independent and group projects as well as serves as a supporting editor. She is particularly interested in Sino-Dominican relations, and the study of 20th century Dominican politics from an internationalist perspective. Mariela is a PhD student in the Department of History at Yale University. She also holds a Master of Law in China Studies from Peking University, and a Bachelor’s from Brown University.
