Jaime Olmos is a motivated bilingual higher education professional with a passion for assisting students in realizing their goals in both the classroom and in their personal lives through holistic advising. Having worked in higher ed for almost a decade, he joined the Colin Powell School Advising Office as an Academic Advisor. Previously, he was an Academic Program Specialist at the CUNY School of Labor & Urban Studies and an Academic Advisor for ASAP at Hostos Community College. Jaime has a Master of Education in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Columbia University, Teachers College, a Master of Arts in American Studies from Rutgers University – Newark, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latina/o Studies & Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
