By engaging with HOLI, students are gaining real-world experience and developing the skills to gain a competitive edge in the workforce. HOLI uplifts the lived experience of students and connects them to our expansive network of employers and accomplished health leaders, positioning them to succeed as health and community advocates.

HOLI scholars have interned at organizations including Common Health Coalition, NYC Health & Hospitals, NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene, Bloom Bridge Health, Institute for Healthcare Delivery Design, Northwell Health, EqualCure, Health and Political Economy Project, and Public Health Solutions.

HOLI is reimagining who holds power in health and how it gets used by investing in CUNY students, and emerging leaders, who reflect the diversity of New York and the nation.

 

Through participation in Tiger Teams, internships, mentorship, and community site visits, our students are gaining exposure to varied health professions and developing the needed skills to make a difference in their communities.
