We’re delighted to share the news that Ambassador (ret.) Marc Ostfield will serve as the next Richard J. Henley and Susan L. Davis Dean of the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at The City College of New York.
Selected from a national pool of more than 100 candidates, Ambassador Ostfield brings more than two decades of government service to his new role, including his tenure as U.S. Ambassador to Paraguay (2022–2025). As a diplomat, educator, and public servant, he has a strong record of leading with purpose and strengthening the institutions he serves. His leadership arrives at a pivotal moment for our students and our society.
