Accountability Fellows 2025

This prestigious yearlong program, offered in partnership with AccountAbility and the Colin Powell School, equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex challenges in sustainable development and responsible business practices. Participants will engage with industry experts, develop strategic frameworks for ethical leadership, and apply economic analysis to real-world ESG issues.

2025 -2026 Fellows

Fiha Farin
Fiha Farin

Fiha is a senior dual majoring in Financial Economics and Psychology. A native of Queens, NY, she is driven by a passion for developing solutions that are economically viable, socially equitable, and environmentally sustainable. Fiha has served as a Climate Policy Fellow and participated in the National Science Foundation Research Program at Marshall University in West Virginia, where she explored the intersections of climate change and economic systems. Her leadership and research experience include work with the Environmental Defense Fund, CRV, and Queens Public Library. She is interested in how ESG frameworks can promote long-term accountability, transparency, and equity across sectors, particularly in underserved communities. In her free time, she enjoys visiting museums, exploring local cafes, drinking matcha, and spending time in nature. She is excited to join the 2025–26 AccountAbility (S) Lab Fellowship and collaborate with a cohort of changemakers committed to sustainability and ESG.

Giles-Christ Aniambossov
Giles-Christ Aniambossou

Giles-Christ Aniambossou is an economics major and psychology minor at the City College of New York, entering his senior year. Born and raised in the South Bronx, Gil balances his time working as a Barista Trainer at Starbucks while playing lacrosse and basketball and watching the markets. He is passionate about financial literacy and hopes to pursue a career in finance someday. Outside of school and work, Gil aspires to create a small business where he can explore both culture and economics together. He is currently working on obtaining certifications like the SIE and Series exams to strengthen his financial knowledge and aims to empower underrepresented communities.

Nabeeha Alam

Nabeeha Alam is a third-year undergraduate student at the Colin Powell School, majoring in Economics. She is passionate about data analytics, sustainability, and the role of technology in driving impactful change. Growing up in a South Asian immigrant household, her parents instilled in her the importance of environmental responsibility– from repurposing materials to conserving resources, shaping her interest in sustainable solutions. This foundation led her to explore how businesses and communities can use data-driven strategies to promote long-term environmental and economic sustainability. Currently, she works as a Data Assistant at the CUNY School of Medicine’s Research Office, where she analyzes trends and creates data visualizations to support
decision-making. This experience has reinforced her belief that data represents more than just numbers—it tells a story about real-world challenges and opportunities for change. In the future, she hopes to apply her analytical skills to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that drive both business efficiency and social impact. On campus, she is involved with the Women in Islam Club, where she helps organize events, manage marketing initiatives, and engage in meaningful discussions—all aimed at strengthening the community. Outside of campus, she enjoys bringing passion projects to life through videography, playing Sudoku and Wordle, and traveling to new places and trying different cuisines.

Nuzhat Nuha
Nuzhat Nuha

Nuzhat Nuha is a junior at the City College of New York, double majoring in Economics and Psychology. She was born in a small town in Bangladesh, where she grew up surrounded by art and creativity. Her academic and personal journey has sparked a deep interest in studying human behavior and exploring how creative thinking can drive sustainable innovation within corporate settings. She aspires to a career that combines data analytics and consulting, analytics and consulting with a focus on environmental and social impact, aiming to develop solutions that are both effective and ethically grounded. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading and researching real-life crime cases. A fun fact about her: in high school, she received an award from the Metropolitan Museum of Art for her excellence in visual arts.

Roger Gachuz
Roger Gachuz

Born and raised in New York City, Roger Gachuz comes from a hardworking and close-knit Hispanic family. He is a first-generation college student and is a sophomore majoring in Economics. They hope to pursue a career they love, but also involves them making a meaningful impact on other people’s lives. Outside of school, Roger enjoys playing football (soccer), exploring the city, photography, and trying new foods. Recently, he’s become fond of playing table tennis, pool, and spikeball. Another fun fact about him is that he once got himself lost in a grocery store, and the cops ended up being called.

Sadman Rahim
Sadman Rahin

Sadman Rahin is a junior majoring in Computer Science at The City College of New York during the 2025–2026 academic year. A first-generation college student and recent immigrant, Sadman is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and create sustainable, socially impactful products. He hopes to pursue a career in tech consulting and product development, helping businesses implement innovative and effective digital solutions. In 2024, he co-founded Quickbites, a student-focused food delivery startup designed to make affordable meals more accessible on urban college campuses. Outside of academics and entrepreneurship, Sadman enjoys going to the gym, running, and playing chess, badminton, and volleyball. He’s driven by curiosity and a desire to build tools that make life easier and more equitable for others.

Yaseen Choudhury
Yaseen Choudhury

Yaseen is a senior majoring in Economics during the 2025–2026 academic year. Originally from Queens, New York, he deeply appreciates the diversity and dynamic community of his hometown. Passionate about sustainability and ESG initiatives, Yaseen plans to apply economic principles professionally to advance ethical business strategies and foster socially responsible investments. His interests particularly revolve around understanding the economic implications of sustainable practices on businesses and communities. In his leisure time, Yaseen enjoys exploring local coffee shops and attending cultural events around the city. A fun fact about him is that he has a talent for remembering obscure trivia, making him a formidable teammate during trivia nights with friends.
