Scholarship and Awards

Scholarships for the Spring 2025 Semester are now available!

If you meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply for at least 2-3 scholarships.

The application deadline is March 4, 2025.

 

Albert Ginsberg

For freshmen majoring in Economics with GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Must write a thank you letter emphasizing interest in pursuing management or business, or showing an entrepreneurial bent, either in or out of school.

Betty & Walter Popper Scholarship

For seniors majoring in Economics with a GPA of 3.0 or higher interested in law post graduation.

Must write a thank you letter explaining what he/she expects to achieve and what this award will mean to them.

Carl Dunat Fund

Open to seniors majoring in Economics, History, Philosophy, or Political Science.

No other requirements to apply.

Clements, Mark & Estelle Scholarship Fund

Designed for any level student majoring in economics with a special interest in the application of statistical techniques to business and economics, student must have already completed at least 2-3 quantitative courses (math/statistics courses).

Elkin, David B. Scholarship

Designed for any level student majoring in economics, student must have maintained a 3.5 GPA or above, and has demonstrated concern about the social implications of the economy.

Irving Goldman Scholarship Fund

Open to students studying business, architecture or engineering.

Student should either hail from Brooklyn, be a first-generation student, or the child of an immigrant.

Must have a GPA or 3.0 or higher.

Kastin, Lawrence C. Scholarship Fund

Open to all levels of students majoring in Economics.

Student must create a personal statement of under 500 words addressed to the BEAS Scholarship committee detailing how this scholarship will be impactful.

Open to Graduate Students in the Economics program with an emphasis on labor relations.

Departmental Fellowships
The Boudreau Fellowship Program

The Boudreau Fellowship honors the Colin Powell School’s inaugural dean, Vince Boudreau.

Fellows will be eligible for two years of scholarship support ($5000/year), with the second year of the scholarship contingent on being in good standing academically and within the fellows program.

Applicants should:

  • Have roughly two years of undergraduate study left at CCNY
  • Be studying finance and should have an interest in corporate social responsibility
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Submit their resumes and transcripts along with answers to the application questions.
