Dr. Brent Maximin is a Doctoral Lecturer for the Psychology Department at The Colin Powell School at The City College of New York. He previously taught Psychology at Brooklyn College and South Seattle College. He received his BA in Psychology and his PhD in Developmental Psychology from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Born and raised in Belmont, Trinidad & Tobago, Dr. Maximin is also an active writer, researcher, and community organizer. His research has primarily focused on positive identity development in adolescence and emerging adulthood.
