On May 19th, the Colin Powell School community gathered in the City College Faculty Lunch Room for our annual end-of-year luncheon. It was a beautiful opportunity to reflect on a successful academic year, connect with colleagues, and, most importantly, celebrate the incredible people who make our school a transformative place for students.

The occasion served as a moment to recognize our Staff and Faculty Awards honorees: individuals who routinely go above and beyond to teach, mentor, support, and inspire.

We also took a moment to celebrate two of our own, Cynthia Gutierrez and Carlito Berlus, who were honored by the CCNY President’s Office with the prestigious Service, Teamwork, Action, and Results (STAR) Awards.

Please join us in congratulating this year’s exceptional awardees!
