Ricardo Andres Anez Carrasquel

Ricardo the Pre Career Program Associate for the Leadership for Democracy and Social Justice (LDSJ). He started as the Project Coordinator for the creation of LDSJ and then became the Program Coordinator where he supported all fellowship programs. Now as the Pre Career Program Associate he manages the Social Change Fellowship for CUNY undergraduate students that focuses on training future social justice organizers and building career pathways in the sector. He is a graduate from The City College of New York (2020). Throughout his time in undergrad Ricardo organized with the CCNY Dream Team, the club on campus that was meant for undocumented students and their allies. In the Spring and the Summer of 2020 he supported the New York State Youth Leadership Council (YLC), the first undocumented led organization in the state with their emergency grant ditribution fund and higher education scholarhips. Ricardo was born in Venezuela, grew up in Wyoming and Colorado, and is now a proud New Yorker repping Queens.
