Two outstanding students from the Colin Powell School have been selected for the highly competitive CASE Advancement Internship, a nationally recognized program that prepares students for careers in higher education advancement.
Eduardo Pinto De Leon, a junior majoring in economics, and Isabel Osorio, a senior majoring in sociology, will spend eight weeks this summer interning in New York University’s advancement office. There they will gain valuable, hands-on experience in key areas critical to the sustainability and growth of higher education institutions, such as fundraising, donor engagement, and alumni relations.
In addition to their on-site work, Eduardo and Isabel will join fellow interns from across the country at a professional development conference in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The conference will offer workshops, networking opportunities, and insights from leaders in the field, equipping participants with a deeper understanding of the advancement profession and its impact on educational access and equity.
