Dr. Lesia Ruglass is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. Her research centers on 1) the treatment of PTSD and substance use disorders (SUDs); 2) understanding the biopsychosocial mechanisms underlying SUDs; and 3) reducing disparities in mental health and SUDs.

Dr. Ruglass serves as Co-Director of the Translational Research Training Program in Addictions for Underrepresent Groups (TRACC); and Co-Director of the Bridges to the Baccalaureate Training Program for racial/ethnic minoritized students at BMCC and CCNY (Manhattan-Bridge).

Dr. Ruglass has received grants from the NIH and the CCNY SEEDS program. She has published multiple peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters, and presented her work nationally and internationally. Dr. Ruglass also maintains a virtual private practice.
