This past October 15, the Colin Powell School brought together alumni, faculty, and staff for its Fall Alumni Networking Social, held at 199 Water Street. The evening was made possible through the generous support of iMentor, who provided the beautiful event space. One of our alums shared that the most memorable part of the evening was “getting to talk with alumni from a variety of fields and learn about their journeys.” Another alum shared their appreciation for the opportunity to “connect with both students and alumni in a welcoming space“.
The event offered alumni a chance to reconnect with classmates and engage with current school leadership in an informal setting. Interim Dean Kevin Foster shared his gratitude for the organization of the event noting, “We’re really building a community of people whose life trajectories have been shaped by the Colin Powell School — and many are already giving back.” The School plans to continue hosting alumni events that strengthen professional connections and celebrate the growing network of Powell School graduates making an impact across sectors.
